Reading is a lamp in the tunnel leading to the gate of knowledge, illuminating my path forward. I have read a book like 'The Wolf King Dream' written by the famous writer Shen Shixi.

This book has a great impact on me. It tells the story of a female wolf giving birth to five young wolves without the protection and care of a male wolf. The mother wolf, on the other hand, broke her foot while rescuing the first young wolf and sacrificed herself while rescuing the second young wolf.

Isn't this just maternal love? There is a plot that deeply touches me. The mother wolf disregards her own safety in order to save her young wolf. The mother wolf, in order to prevent the eagle from harming her child, rushes forward recklessly and fights with the eagle, even though it has been caught in a state of blurred flesh and blood. Sometimes, maternal love outweighs life, and mothers sometimes sacrifice their lives for the safety of their children.

Maternal love is great, and the maternal love of animals is so great and beautiful, not to mention the kinship between humans. I still remember one break in the first semester of third grade when I forgot to take my book. You braved the cold wind and braved the heavy snow to come to the school to deliver it to me. Jane Eyre — A Beautiful Soul Jane Eyre, is a poor but aspiring, small in body but huge in soul, obscure but self-respecting girl. After we close the covers of the book, after having a long journey of the spirit, Jane Eyre, a marvelous figure, has left us so much to recall and to think:

We remember her goodness: for someone who lost arms and blinded in eyes, for someone who despised her for her ordinariness, and even for someone who had hurt her deeply in the past.

We remember her pursuit of justice. It’s like a companion with the goodness. But still, a virtuous person should promote the goodness on one side and must check the badness on the other side.

We remember her self-respect and the clear situation on equality. In her opinion, everyone is the same at the God’s feet. Though there are differences in status、in property and also in appearance, but all the human being are equal in personality.

We also remember her striving for life, her toughness and her confidence…

When we think of this girl, what she gave us was not a pretty face or a transcendent temperament that make us admire deeply, but a huge charm of her personality.

Actually, she wasn’t pretty, and of course, the ordinary appearance didn’t make others feel good of her, even her own aunt felt disgusted with it. In my mind, though a person’s beauty on the face can make others once feel that one is attractive and charming, if his or her mind isn’t the same beautiful as the appearance, such as beauty cannot last for, when others find that the beauty which had charmed them was only a falsity, it’s not true, they will like the person no more. The Old Man and the Sea is one of Hemingway’s most enduring works and may very well bee one of the true classics of this generation. It played a great part in his winning the Pulizer Prize in 1953 and the 1954 Novel Prize for Literature and confirmed his power and presence in the literary world. Hemingway is also one of my favorite writers. Besides The Old Man And the Sea, I have read some of his other works, such as The Sun Also Rises, A Farewell to Arms and The Snow of Kilimanijaro. But The Old Man and the Sea is the one that left the deepest impression on me.

This novel mainly wrote one old person alone in marine fishes. He fished one big fish, tied up the fish head and the upper part of the body side the boat above. But he met the shark fish, the old person causes all one's skill and the shark fish fight, the shark fish the fish flesh which could eat all eats finished also has about 800 pounds.

《小学英语教与学》一书以小学英语的“教”与“学”为主线，帮助小学教师从理论与实践的结合上总结了各种教学经验，使教师的教学有法可学，有经可取。作为一名小学低年级的英语教师，我发现一、二年级的学生，无论课堂内外，总是那么生气勃勃、活泼可爱，想象力丰富，这是他们的优点。但同时低年级的小学生又存在自控力低、有意注意时间较短的特点。因此，我重点学习了与我的教学息息相关的章节，并把他们运用到教学当中，运用以活动为载体、激活课堂教学情境的模式，提高课堂教学效率。

一、活动激发兴趣，情境适当调控。

《小学英语教与学》指出：活动是转变教与学方式的关键，只有课堂动起来，学生的思维才能活起来。要想激发学生的学习兴趣，就要力求使学生处于动眼、动手、动口的主体激活状态。因为充满趣味性的情境教学，可极大调动眼、耳、口、手的动作。在初级阶段，教师可以给学生一些提示，让学生在丰富的教学情境作用下，使学生很快达到情绪的兴奋，主动探求知识，主动解决悬念、困惑的方法或途径，主动研究问题；在有了一些基础后，可以让学生根据自己的爱好、想象创造动作、情景，创造性的解决问题。学生在愉快的创造、想象过程中，身心比较放松，主体意识大大增强，潜移默化地使自己增长了知识，拓展了思维空间。

我发现手指在教学中有很大的妙用，如在教授一年级下册《Unit8Shapes》时，就可以让学生用手指摆出各种图形、画出各种图形，边说边摆，学生就会兴高采烈的摆来摆去、画来画去。在画图形时我又把图形与单词的发音结合起来，如triangle有三个音节，我们正好是三笔把它画完，学生边画边有节奏的把这几个单词说出来，很快就可以记住了。当他们对单词初步掌握后，就可以让他们玩我画你猜的游戏，即用手指在对方的背后画图形让对方来猜。经过多种形式的练习，学生逐步掌握了单词。

在教授本单元Let’ssay的几种动物时，我让学生设计几个动作来表示这几种动物，学生的兴致很高，很快达成协议：伸两个手指ostrich，伸四个手指是pig，伸八个手指是octopus，两个手交叉放在一起时是peacock，由于是自己设计的动作，再做起来、说出来时就会更加起劲，注意力就会更加集中，效果自然就会更好。但是《小学英语教与学》也指出要从学生的第一节英语课开始培养学生的良好的学习习惯，因此教师在组织这些活动的同时一定要做到活而不乱、动静结合。如果不能做到收放自如，就会适得其反。当发现有的学生过于兴奋不能自控时要及时调整，可用善意的眼神、亲切的话语进行提示，也可通过树立好的榜样影响其他人，如当我们表扬某某学生一直说得很好、某某学生一直坐得很好时，我们会发现榜样的力量是无穷的，全班学生都会立刻做到最好。

二、运用丰富的肢体语言和精彩的语言创设情境。

《小学英语教与学》指出：师生之间每时每刻都在进行心灵接触，在众多渴求知识的目光里，老师是他们眼中的一盏灯，任何语言及表情都会产生一连串的连锁反应。要在课堂上创造一种轻松的、幽默、宽容的气氛，教师的身体语言必不可少。教师的身体语言即教态是无声的语言，它能对教学情境起到恰到好处的补充、配合、修饰作用，可以使教师通过表情让情境的表现更加准确、丰富，更容易为学生所接受。

精彩、恰当的表情和动作能引起孩子的注意，让复杂的东西变得简单起来。英语是语言教学，英语教学更需要丰富的面部表情和肢体动作的配合。教师亲切而自信的目光、期待而专注的眼神可以使学生产生安全感，消除恐惧感，缩短教师与学生的感情距离。教师热情洋溢的微笑、友善慈祥的面容可以使学生获得最直观、最形象、最真切的感受；潇洒得体的身姿手势，无时不在感染着学生，可以使学生加深对知识点的理解、记忆，引导学生全身心地投入到情境中去。

教师的教学语言及表情要幽默、有感染力、充满鼓励性，要能与学生融合，能够被学生所接纳，让他们喜欢我们，才能够吸引学生的注意力。教师充满趣味性的语言会使学生跟随教师的引导进行学习，教师启发性的表情有利于学生创新意识的发挥，老师眼神里流露出无限的探寻与启发能激发学生的求知欲，教师一个鼓励的暗示能让学生变得勇敢自信。

三、通过故事、歌谣，创设情境。

《小学英语教与学》第一章将如何以各种教法激发学生的学习兴趣。教学上要不断变换教学内容的呈现方式，让学生感受到英语学习的多姿多彩，就能激起孩子对英语本身的兴趣。在课堂英语教学（尤其在起始阶段）中，我常常采用书中所指导的各种方法，如故事与歌谣教学（或唱英语歌）、游戏教学、课前或课后猜谜语等教学方法来创设情景，激发学生的学习兴趣。

在一年级的教材中，有很多单词教学是与歌谣教学相结合的，可爱的英语歌谣自身富有音乐节奏，抑扬顿挫的语音语调具有一定的吸引力，让学生感到是在欣赏一首动听的歌曲。我发现一些单词对于一年级的小学生来说很难记住，那么怎样让单词教学吸引学生呢？我就把一个个单词编在一起，成为一个个小故事，这些小故事轻松有趣，又有一定的教育意义。再把这些小故事用电脑课件做出来，辅以教师自身的素质和充满激情的教学，如丰富的表情，幽默的语言，大方得体的教态，这每一举手一投足，使整个课堂就宛如一场生动的故事会，学生从中体味无穷，不知不觉中他们的兴趣和听说能力就有了较大的提高。再用简单的歌谣说出来，孤立的单词之间有了联系，有了情景，有了韵律，就变得简单易学多了。

如在教授一年级下册第五单元Let’ssay中的单词时，我就讲了这样一个故事：一只昆虫（aninsect）出国了，带回来好多东西，看：他穿着夹克衫（ajacket），吃着冰激凌（anice—cream），开着吉普车（ajeep）回来了。但昆虫（aninsect）是一个粗心的人，把冰激凌（anice—cream）弄了一夹克衫（ajacket），它赶紧擦啊擦啊，可是他忘了它还开着吉普车（ajeep），哎呀，快看！他的车（ajeep）翻了！他也哭了！我一边用充满感情的生动的语言和夸张的表情讲故事，一边用电脑课件把它演示出来，学生也跟着我的故事做出各种相应的表情，并产生了强烈的学习的欲望。这是我适时地把歌谣说出来：insect吃着ice—cream，穿着jacket，开着jeep；ice—cream撒了，jacket脏了，jeep翻了，insect哭了！学生们情不自禁的一边和我说、一边做出可爱的动作和表情，枯燥的单词变得生动有趣、琅琅上口，学生很快就记熟了单词，同时也懂得了粗心带来的后果。

在看到创设情境教学收到好的效果后，我又在教授第十一单元Let’ssay时如法炮制，设计了一个卡通的大西瓜，它有好几只手，它要出去旅游，一只戴手表，一只手拉小提琴，一只手打着伞，边走边唱：watermelon，watermelon，打着umbrella，拉着violin，看看watch！happy！学生们兴奋异常，跟着手舞足蹈，齐声吟唱。同时，《小学英语教与学》告诉我们：创造是学生快乐的源泉，因此，我鼓励孩子们自己编故事和歌谣，激发他们的创造性，提高他们的积极性。总之，在课堂教学活动中，教师若能把一些枯燥的、但具有一定联系的知识编成一个个简单易学的'顺口溜，学生就会爱学，知识也会易学。教师和学生由于轻松学会知识而产生的积极向上、欢乐愉快的情绪又在潜移默化中更加激发学生学习英语的兴趣和热情。

四、充分利用教材内容创设情境。

小学英语教材从突出对学生的兴趣培养出发，教材本身蕴含着丰富的情境内容。教师应如何充分利用这些情境呢？《小学英语教与学》倡导任务型教学，教师可以为学生搭好平台，创造性的对书中的情境加以运用，让学生在教学活动中参与和完成真实的任务，就会收到很好的效果。

如一年级的上册的第六单元是Happybirthday！，我就让学生开了个Birthdayparty，我让学生自己设计情境，发挥自己的想象力，分成各种不同的过生日角色，来练习本课的会话。他们设计的都很有创意，每组都有每组的精彩所在。在原有的会话内容中，加入所学的知识，将枯燥的会话演绎得别有生色，再加上毛茸玩具和生日蛋糕等道具，使课堂气氛一下子活跃起来，学生积极动脑去想、动手去做、动口大胆的去说，创造性思维很好的发挥出来。

一二年级的教材中都有表示家庭成员的词汇，教师可以让学生带来"合家欢"照片，并让学生互相介绍自己的家庭及父母的职业等；教授数字时，可以让学生做趣味数学题；教授表示颜色的词汇时，教师可让学生谈论各自喜欢的颜色、服装、学习用品等；教授表示衣服的词汇时，可让学生动手用纸、布等制作小衣服并开个服装展示会；教授表示食品、饮料的词汇时，教师可拿来实物或模型，师生之间和学生之间用这些实物进行对话，互相了解各自的喜好；教授表示运动的词汇时让学生模仿各种动物开个运动会……

总之，只要教师开动脑筋，借助新颖的教学手段、巧妙设计任务，书上的知识就会活起来，就能激发学生的好学情绪，使之受到训练。这样既培养了学生的能力，又发展了他们的智力，使学生的主动性与积极性得到调动。

《小学英语教与学》告诉我：英语教师只有将自己的教学工作与教育科研结合起来，边科研、边教学、边实践，不断的探索教育教学的科学规律，使自己成为一个研究者，才能更好地搞好英语教学。正是遵循了这一原则，我的英语课堂活了起来，我的教学能力有了质的提高，我的学生爱学英语、会学英语，他们能更加主动、轻松地参与学习活动。为了他们，我学习、研究的脚步将永不停止。
